A Brief Intro! |
Here you can see what I thought about the games I've played on stream! I'm not sure why you would care, but if you want my thoughts, here they are! I try to keep these from going on for too long. Try being the key word. If you are looking for a specific game, I'd suggest ctrl+f. I feel like I should change the visual look of this page, but I am not sure what to do to make it better.
|
Wreckless: The Yakuza Missions |
Started: Nov 2024 (PS2) |
I remember playing some of this back when it came out. Glad I revisited it and played through all of the story missions! Having gone back through it, no wonder I don't remember getting far, some of these missions are kind of bullshit. I am not sure I would call this a good game, but I certainly had fun playing it.
|
UFO 50- Night Manor |
Started: Oct 2024 (Windows) |
Honestly Night Manor was absolutely fantastic. Enjoyable couple of hours of gameplay. Got stumped for a while, but nothing too bad. If you loved the older console point and clicks (or probably just point and clicks honestly) this is worth playing.
|
Kirby's Halloween Adventure |
Started: Oct 2024 (NES) |
This is a really fun romhack! All the Halloween themeing was so well done. Definitely reccommend!
|
Boktai: The Sun is in Your Hand |
Started: Oct 2024 (GBA) |
Pissed at myself for not playing through this fully when I borrowed it in the past. Great game, fun all the way through! Apparently has a lot of bonus stuff if you replay it, so that is on the horizon sometime.
|
Eastern Mind: Lost Souls of Tong Nou |
Started: Aug 2024 (Windows) |
This was an absolutely wild ride. Play this. I am not sure how I can describe the experience, it was very wild. That is all I can say. Loved this. CPU speed sensitive (animations).
|
Gadget: Invention, Travel and Adventure |
Started: Aug 2024 (Mac) |
Great read! No choices or anything, 100% linear with no puzzles and such (except for trying to figure out what is happening). Would suggest playing/reading/watching this? You'd probably get the full experience even just watching a playthrough. Apparently has ports that have higher quality graphics, no idea if those have the same vibes as the mac one I played. I still don't think I understand much of it...
|
Sega Bass Fishing |
Started: Jul 2024 (Dreamcast) |
Fun, but I only did an Amateur tournament, so I do not know much about the game at large.
|
18 Wheeler: American Pro Trucker |
Started: Jul 2024 (Dreamcast) |
Fun arcade-ish experience! Played it on easy because I was more interested in just having fun. Drafting is your friend!
|
Super Mario 64 |
Started: Jun 2024 (N64) |
I never played this despite having an N64 when it was relevant. This game has some pretty fucked stars, but I loved playing it anyway!
|
Spyro the Dragon |
Started: May 2024 (PS1) |
I adore this game, and this trilogy. Played it a couple of times in the past. First time going for 100%. Was fun, glad to have gotten it!
|
Warioware, Inc.: Mega Microgames! |
Started: May 2024 (GBA) |
Fun game! Wario's Microgames are so much fun, and this one doesn't destroy the touch screen of your DS! (because it is for the GBA)
|
Gex 3: Deep Cover Gecko |
Started: Apr 2024 (PS1) |
Gex did not need FMV bits talking to a Baywatch actress on his watch. Hear the N64 version is missing the FMVs but has bad framerate. Might be preferable. Wish Gex would shut up, but at the same time some of the shit he said caught me off guard and absolutely fucking broke me. Where else am I going to hear the protagonist of a game mention George Jetson's colon. Nowhere. Is that for the better? Probably. At the time of writing (dec 2024) most of the game has faded from my memory. Probably for the better.
|
Killer7 |
Started: Mar 2024 (PS2) |
Killer7 was so good! Gameplay can get a bit repetitive, and aiming was a bit tricky at times on the PS2, but it was still fun! The story was so wild, this rules. Play it if you haven't!
|
Trauma Center: New Blood |
Started: Mar 2024 (Wii) |
Not as good as the other Trauma Center/Team games on the Wii. Still pretty fun! Feels like it tries to be more realistic, but is still wild at the same time, so I don't get it...
|
Jet Grind Radio |
Started: Mar 2024 (Dreamcast) |
JGR kicked ass! Very fun game. Another game I'm mad at myself for sleeping on. Music is so good, and I feel like the movement in this game has to have a massively high skill level (I am at the bottom of it.)
|
Ape Escape |
Started: Mar 2024 (PS1) |
Loved catching those Apes. Had some trouble with depth perception like always. Very fun!
|
Gex: Enter the Gecko |
Started: Feb 2024 (PS1) |
I don't hate it. I hate replaying the third level reusing the same assets, though. I guess it is passable. If Gex would shut up, this would probably just be a somewhat average 3d platformer.
|
Gex |
Started: Feb 2024 (PS1) |
Middling. Extremely fun at times, and then extremely stupid at times. May just be me being bad. Hear the 3do version has saving instead of passwords. Might improve the game immensely. The real insane part about this game is the manual, specifically, Gex's backstory.
|
Devil May Cry 5 |
Started: Feb 2024 (Windows) |
Fun! Maybe not playing as V, but fun otherwise! I play all the DMC games on normal, so keep this in mind with my thoughts on them.
|
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion |
Started: Jan 2024 (Windows) |
I have played a lot of Oblivion, so I have a soft spot for it. Depite the humanoids looking like potatoes, Oblivion's atmosphere is very charming.
|
Pokemon Snap |
Started: Dec 2023 (N64) |
I love photography, and I love Pokemon. Therefore, I also love Pokemon Snap! Fun game. Never got to experience one of the print stations in person since we did not have a store locally that had one.
|
Lifeline |
Started: Nov 2023 (PS2) |
Lifeline. Honestly, I think most of the hate this game gets comes soley from the voice recognition not being the greatest. I can't hate it, the story is too wild. Insane stories alone will make me play a game.
|
Uninvited |
Started: Oct 2023 (NES) |
You are aware of a sense of peace and triumph. Very charming and fun point and click. If I remember correctly, I got stumped 2-4 times or so? Still reccommend if you enjoy point and clicks.
|
Ib (Remake) |
Started: Oct 2023 (Windows) |
Loved the original Ib! This is also fantastic. Still need to go back and get other endings to fill out the art gallery...
|
Voices of the Void |
Started: Oct 2023 (Windows) |
This has changed a lot since I played it, I think. Very fun game! I love the gameplay loop. Great atmosphere, some good scares, and some great jokes. Fully reccommend.
|
Fear the Spotlight |
Started: Oct 2023 (Windows) |
This game was honestly really fun! Short enjoyable experience with some pretty fun puzzles, and good characters! I believe this got updated and changed a lot since I have played it. I do not know anything about the new version or what changed.
|
MediEvil |
Started: Oct 2023 (PS1) |
Entirely missed this when it came out. Pretty fun! Controls better than I expected, and honestly just feels like it is stuffed with charm, if that makes sense. (Slight spoilers if you keep reading) A couple of confusing bits, and collecting those chalices actually makes you stronger as you play? Reccommend it, it was fun!
|
Afterlife |
Started: Sep 2023 (DOS) |
I love Afterlife so much. I do not quite know why. I have a LOT I could say about it. I will try and be short. The music is amazing, if you know any music like this PLEASE let me know. The full art for all of the rewards and some of the buildings is amazing. The fact you can manage the planet's population growth and development via influencing sins or virtues or tenets... This game should not be as fun to play as I find it, and yet, I think it is! And your assistants are fantastic too! Okay, I will force myself to cut it off there. Has some sound issues if you run it at a high cpu speed.
|
The Sims: Bustin' Out |
Started: Aug 2023 (GBA) |
This game rules! I played Urbz before this years ago, so the format of the game was somewhat familiar. Music is great, dialogue is great, the 3d renders turned sprites are good... Honestly I just think this was a lot of fun!
|
The Sims 2: Castaway |
Started: Aug 2023 (PS2) |
I played a bit of this on PSP back when it came out, think I borrowed it or something? Also not to be confused with the PC game, sims castaway stories, which is different apparently? But anyway, this kicked ass. A survival crafting game mixed with a sims game. Atmosphere is actually really great here, and there is some good music too. I only got one ending, might go back for the other one someday. Very fun!
|
Kirby 64: Crystal Shards |
Started: Jul 2023 (N64) |
I have a soft spot for this game, and have played it many times. Music is fantastic, graphics are fantastic... I don't think I have a single complaint about this game. Just play it if you haven't.
|
Air Combat |
Started: Jul 2023 (PS1) |
This was pretty fun. Short game if you go right for the objectives. Clunky at times, but I guess it is the first game in the series, so I understand... Graphics are pretty nice.
|
Pikmin 2 HD |
Started: Jul 2023 (Switch) |
Fun game. INCREDIBLY STRESSFUL game. Watching helplessly while all your pikmin die underground. Honestly not a huge fan of the underground stuff, so I think I like pikmin 1 better. However, this is still a fantastic game! I did not go back for the post-game shenanigans, but I had fun with it anyway.
|
Pikmin 1 HD |
Started: Jun 2023 (Switch) |
My favourite Pikmin game! (Out of the two I've played.) Only second time playing this, the first time I played it I got the bad ending. I love the atmosphere of Pikmin 1, the time limit keeps you feeling like you're actually somewhere dangerous. Well, that and the sudden murder of dozens of pikmin when you make an oops. Good music and graphics as well. HD rerelease was a fun way to play it, too.
|
Devil May Cry 4: SE |
Started: Jun 2023 (Windows) |
Very good game. I play all the DMC games on normal, so keep this in mind with my thoughts on them. A lot of the characters in this game rule... Entirely reccommend.
|
Harvest Moon |
Started: Jun 2023 (SNES) |
I never played this, only newer games! My first hm was hm64, so going back to play this was a real treat. Played with a little sprite mod, but no gameplay changes. Really a fun game, simple enough that your day is about laying out things efficiently. Highly reccommend playing it, even if just for a little while. I stopped after getting married, so I guess there was plenty of game left, but I was trying to consider what would be fun to watch... Weird that every girl ends up becoming the same girl after getting married. Even their likes change, apparently.
|
SimCity 4 |
Started: May 2023 (Windows) |
I have played hundreds of hours of SimCity 4. Ever since this came out, it has been on every computer I've owned. Boy, performance has definitely gotten better over the years. Fantastic soundtrack (this goes for 3k as well of course.), great visuals, and a lot of freedom with how you want to lay things out. The little 3d advsiors flashing red when they panic is funny as well. You can even drive/fly around your city doing missions or just roam it. Given my long history with SimCity 4, I don't think I can say anything beyond: I enjoy this, play it!
|
Kirby's Dream Land 3 |
Started: May 2023 (SNES) |
Impressive visual effects. This game looks absolutely amazing. Pretty fun, but I definitely did not feel like redoing all the levels to try and get the good ending.
|
Deja Vu |
Started: Apr 2023 (NES) |
Probably would not have finished this without chat's help! Still a lot of fun. If you enjoy point and clicks, this rules.
|
ActRaiser |
Started: Apr 2023 (SNES) |
ActRaiser was so much fun.... I cannot overstate how much this rules. City building based on how good you do during the action parts (score based I think). Extremely satisfying! Fantastic atmosphere, music and graphics. Really can't ask for more. If you see my vod and know what the hell was going on with my snes when the credits played though, let me know.
|
Kirby Super Star |
Started: Apr 2023 (SNES) |
This is like a bunch of Kirby games in one! And they're all good! Short version: Play this, it kicks ass!
|
Kirby's Dream Land 2 |
Started: Apr 2023 (GB) |
Pretty fun! Embarrassing Kirby game for me. I, somehow, could not grasp the final boss mechanics and ended up savestating out of frustration to beat it without using one of the fight's base mechanics. The only game I've done that with on stream, and part of why I try to avoid emulators at all now. If I can't do it, I won't be tempted at all! All that aside, just as fun as Dreamland 1, but longer!
|
Pokemon Infinite Fusion |
Started: Apr 2023 (Windows) |
I had an absolute blast with this. Loved every moment of playing it. Fantastic pokemon fangame. Fuse your fellas to make abominations! Sometimes cute, sometimes funny, sometimes terrifying... Full reccommendation here.
|
Devil May Cry 3 |
Started: Feb 2023 (PS2) |
Fun! This game even has Jerma in it! Okay, sorry, that was a bad joke. Really fun game, and Lady is super cool... I play all the DMC games on normal, so keep this in mind with my thoughts on them.
|
Scooby Doo: Classic Creep Capers |
Started: Mar 2023 (N64) |
Pretty fun scoob game. I got stuck for a long time on the first level. Embarrassing. Have a few complaints with this one, like the required item later on that was almost the same color as the floor. Still fairly fun overall.
|
Kirby's Adventure |
Started: Feb 2023 (NES) |
Fantastic. I love this game. This looks amazing for a NES game, especially the final boss. Timing on one of the minigames seems impossible for me to manage, but I'm probably just bad. If you haven't played this, please do.
|
Trouble Shooter Vintage/Battle Mania Daiginjou |
Started: Jan 2023 (Genesis) |
This rules. Great sequel to the first game. Music and visuals are still great, and it still isn't hard enough for me to get annoyed with it! Play it, please.
|
Trouble Shooter/Battle Mania |
Started: Jan 2023 (Genesis) |
Extremely fun shooting game. Great music and visuals, and it isn't so hard I get annoyed with it that much... (Maybe that one level that I won't spoil.)
|
Monster Rancher 2 DX |
Started: Nov 2022 (Switch) |
I absolutely loved playing MR2!!! Disappointed monols aren't as good as in MR1, but that is life. Witness your fella get farted to death or flattened by a golem! Swear revenge! Eventually win it all! Fantastic game, play it. Has QoL improvements over MR1, so maybe play that one first if you intend to ever play it.
|
Silent Hill 2 |
Started: Oct 2022 (PS2) |
Very very fun game! I never saw any of this before playing it, and wow. Just like SH1 the atmosphere here is top notch. If you haven't played this, play it.
|
Silent Hill |
Started: Oct 2022 (PS2) |
Was a lot of fun playing this with no prior knowledge! Tricky puzzles... Amazing atmosphere, absolutely fantastic. Needed some help figuring out the end boss, but I will not spoil that here. Would reccommend!
|
Raptor: Call of the Shadows |
Started: Sep 2022 (DOS) |
I remember playing this a bunch. Fun shooting game! I love the soundtrack, and I think all the art is good. A bit hard, I'm bad though, so it might not actually be.
|
Pacman 2: The New Adventures |
Started: Sep 2022 (Genesis) |
Look Look! Look Look! Great fun. Watch Pacman ignore you and walk into a rake repeatedly. I got stuck at the very end and needed to look up what to do, oops. Fun overall, it is short, so defintely consider playing it!
|
SMT: DS: Soul Hackers |
Started: Jul 2022 (3DS) |
I absolutely love Soul Hackers!! Play Soul Hackers it rules. Amazing atmosphere, story and gameplay. I remember hearing there is a mod that restores some of the changed sprites in the 3ds to their originals, I believe. (Blackberry-styled phone back to usual dialpad.)
|
Scooby-Doo and the Cyber Chase |
Started: Jul 2022 (PS1) |
Supposed to be a short game. I'm bad and somehow got stuck on a single jump for almost an hour. Fun otherwise, recommend playing it!
|
Magician's Quest: Mysterious Times |
Started: Jul 2022 (DS) |
Imagine Animal Crossing: Wild World but you're a wizard/witch at a boarding school, and the animals can be random items or foods as well as animals. It rules. I need to play this more. There is a lot of content here, but it is kind of hard to make into a streaming game? I am not sure how to describe it. RTC influenced content. Very fun game, played this a lot on my DS back when it came out! Shame the sequels never got released in english.
|
Devil May Cry 2 |
Started: Jul 2022 (PS2) |
Maybe skip this one. I'm glad I played it. I think I remember having fun sometimes? Apparently fought a boss I was expected to run from multiple times down to the hp value where it flees. I play all the DMC games on normal, so keep this in mind with my thoughts on them.
|
Scooby-Doo! First Frights |
Started: Jun 2022 (Wii) |
Pretty fun game! Apparently this may have been better on PS2, since it controlled by holding the wiimote sideways. Oh well.
|
Subnautica |
Started: Apr 2022 (Windows) |
I loved playing this blind so much! If you haven't played this and haven't seen anyone play it, go play it now! The exploration and sense of discovery in this game felt so good. Fantastic.
|
Theme Hospital |
Started: Apr 2022 (DOS) |
Super fun game! Hiding outbreaks can be so tricky to pull off successfully.... (I may just be bad) Minigames between levels are also fun. Soundtrack is good. Loved it all the way through.
|
Kirby's Dream Land |
Started: Apr 2022 (GB) |
I am a Kirby game enjoyer. Very fun game. Short, fun and simple. Fully reccommend!
|
Duke Nukem 1 |
Started: Apr 2022 (DOS) |
Overall pretty fun. I feel like it may have been a bit too long for its own good? But not by much.
|
Zelda: Wand of Gamelon & Link: The Faces of Evil |
Started: Apr 2022 (Windows) |
I played the remastered versions of these. I honestly believe these are very fun games, YTP jokes aside. I love their music, and honestly the art in the stages and overworld is fantastic too...
|
System Shock 2 |
Started: Mar 2022 (Windows) |
Entirely different vibe from the first System Shock game. Kind of hard to compare them because of that. I think I prefer the first game. This game is still fantastic, I felt so pressured the whole time no matter what was happening... Atmosphere is fantastic! Build system means lots of replayability, for sure...
|
Trauma Team |
Started: Mar 2022 (Wii) |
I loved playing Trauma Team! Maybe not endoscopy, but it wasn't as bad to control was I remembered, either. The story and characters in this one is absolutely insane. It rules. Boss is kind of funny (spoiler free comment)- Wiimote batteries died and I had time to replace them quickly without the patient dying.
|
Monster Rancher 1 DX |
Started: Feb 2022 (Switch) |
Loved this game! Loved my monols! Simple as that! Joking aside, I prefer the training pixel art this has in comparison to the full 3D training that Monster Rancher 2 has, even if 2 is better in most of the other aspects. Except for weakning monols. I loved my monols and their terrifying pop-out faces!
|
Trauma Center: Second Opinion |
Started: Feb 2022 (Wii) |
Very fun game! There's a bit where npcs taunt you for being slow at solving simple puzzles. I got taunted a lot. This game rules!
|
Hamtaro: Ham-Ham Heartbreak |
Started: Feb 2022 (GBA) |
I have a soft spot for Ham-Ham Heartbreak. I absolutely love this game. Please play it.
|
Devil May Cry |
Started: Feb 2022 (PS2) |
Fun! I can't say the line I want to say here because it is spoilers. I enjoyed finding (and sometimes chat telling me) ways to cheese bosses I got stuck on! I play all the DMC games on normal, so keep this in mind with my thoughts on them.
|
System Shock: Enhanced Edition |
Started: Jan 2022 (Windows) |
Nice jump. Played this on the reccommendation of a friend. Absolutely loved playing this. The controls may seem odd at first, but you eventually get used to them. The atmosphere in this game rules. Couple of letdowns I can't mention without spoiling things, but they don't change the fact I like it.
|
Deus Ex |
Started: Jan 2022 (Windows) |
My vision is augmented. Deus Ex rules. Need to replay this again. And again, honestly. Just play Deus Ex.
|
Commander Keen in "Aliens Ate My Babysitter" (6) |
Started: Dec 2021 (DOS) |
I want to absolutely adore Keen 6, but some of these levels have really suffering moments. I know I'm bad, but come on. Has a huge amount of enemies, so that is cool! I still think Keen 6 is really fun. I wish we got Keen 7. Thank god Bethesda's mobile game using the Keen name never came out.
|
Commander Keen in "The Armageddon Machine" (5) |
Started: Dec 2021 (DOS) |
Fun game! Weakest game of Keen 4/5/6 for me, but that's just due to the less varied level designs. Weakest doesn't mean it is bad at all, it is still really fun.
|
Commander Keen in "Secret of the Oracle" (4) |
Started: Dec 2021 (DOS) |
My personal favourite Keen game! I love Keen 4's atmosphere. Uses the engine Keen 4/5/6 use, but- levels aren't as punishing in odd ways as Keen 6, and is more varied than Keen 5.
|
Commander Keen 1-3 |
Started: Dec 2021 (DOS) |
All three of these are fun games! Each one is honestly a lot different than the next. I had trouble with the ending of Keen 3, but I think that was just me being bad.
|
Kisha de Go! |
Started: Nov 2021 (PS1) |
This DDG game only has steam locomotives! Pretty fun, has a couple of extras to get more time because of driving steam. The routes feel a lot longer for some reason. may actually be longer (didn't pay too much attention to numbers while I beef everything else). I am bad at it like all of the DDG games. Thankfully, it is fun even if you're bad at it!
|
Densha de Go! Nagoya Railroad |
Started: Nov 06 2021 (PS1) |
I've always been interested in the "Densha de Go!" games, but always put off looking into them. This was the first one I played! Was also the start of me streaming. Many days of just relaxing (messing up stops/speed limits/etc!) with DDG happened, and should happen all the way into the future!
